I'm always wondering how to get this kind of photography, I mean how to get all the details.
Do you use HDR technique for this shot? And all of your shot in general?

What I really like about this shot is the background! The clouds have great structure, they even look like painted. And the birds are placed so perfectly, it's hard to believe they've been captured rather randomly! :D They really add a lot to the composition!

Yeah, those birds are flying exactly how I hoped they would in the frame... funny how if you wait long enough... you can place them at will in post. :D

Thanks!

Haha, I'm relieved to hear that! I was afraid now you can even control the living objects to achieve the composition :D

Really nice, I just think it's a little too empty, there's nothing else then the car, the outpost(?), water, and seagulls. It might need some more colors to give it more feel?

Well, see the response I left below to stalker777- it explains why some of the photos are a little more sparse than others. :)

I really like the composition, as you already mentioned and the cloud formation. That little shack behind with the crows really adds to an amazing feel to the image.

However, I really feel the image lacks the artistic sense as compared to your previous images.

Well, it's a very simple shot though. For my commercial work, I'm given a shot list with very specific angles that the team wants to see- some of them can be more creative, and others they need to be quite simple, for any editorial needs magazines have and just want a simple crop of the car. So with the variety of angles and backgrounds they want, there will always be a couple photos here and there that lack a certain punch compared to the rest of the series, simply because the needs are different.

Hmm, yeah that's a good point. But the car is detailed each time it's moved, and they spray on tire shine each time. I guess I just didn't burn it as much as I should have.

This is probably my favorite in the 300 set. The composition is amazing and the clouds make it so much easier to shoot a black car.

Eh, could use some brighter colors. Then again, that would deter the whole somber feel that Chrysler is going for. Let the Dodges and Jeeps have their sunsets! Chryslers are about looking good in the rain!

Haha trust me, I wanted to go into the session with bright skies but desaturated in post. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans. I had to roll with the punches.

And actually, it's the opposite, haha. Dodge is supposed to be gritty- Chrysler vibrant. Just worked the other way on this one. =P
