2013 Dodge Dart R/T 04 - Press Kit by notbland 2013 Dodge Dart R/T 04 - Press Kit by notbland
2013 Dodge Dart R/T.
Nashville, TN. December 13-15, 2011.
Official Press Release Photography.

Aggressive thing, this. The R/T trim has the blacked out grille that connects the headlamps together. Which is the only way to do it, in my eyes.

Well, you gotta love the whole lot really, and you're right.. I have always been a fan of Italian styling. (I have even owned two Alfa Romeos, including my current run-around!) It's about time America started bringing out some truly world competing cars for the mainstream market! I feel until fairly recently they've been a little sub-par compared to Europe and Japan, even if Jap cars are rather boring for the most part, lol.

And you're welcome! Your pictures generally astonish me with their awesomeness! :P

Yeah, all of Chrysler Groups is just killing it post-bankruptcy... just look at what Jeep is doing with their new Grand Cherokee. And then Chrysler's all new lineup, Dodge producing some very cool sculpted cars, and now with their connection to Fiat it should only get better.

Thanks!!

I gotta say, I am liking a fair chunk of the latest Dodge range releases, and most definitely the way you're shooting them. They got themselves a pretty nice designer there! (Saying that, I have been a Viper fan since the first one appeared on the scene!) I could probably even see myself owning one of these.. Seems like a pretty nice beasty! (Obviously justice is done from your immense photography though! ;))

Well, they're transported in covered transport from Detroit to wherever we're shooting, but once on location the vehicles are moved from spot to spot under their own power. Just very, very carefully.

So for these shoots, they're probably too precious to actually drive to location, right? Ride around in a covered flatbed or something?

These pre-production cars, I never sit in them, let alone drive them. They're MEGA expensive and insured for numbers I can't even discuss, are one-off builds just for the auto shows and my photoshoot, and occasionally aren't in final production stage- temporary engine, unfinished interior, etc. By the time they roll onto the stage at the auto shows, they're in finished condition, but for static photography where you only need to see what it looks like from the outside... yeah, I have no intel on how it drives, basically. =P

Not so rough on the eyes at all.

Any personal impression on how it drives?
