2005 Porsche Carrera GT. Matte black.
New Orleans, Louisiana. February 2, 2010.

It reminded me of alien technology from this angle. It truly looks like nothing else on the road from up there.

Still uninspired color-wise. But running terribly behind schedule, so I'm not being as strict about the cohesive feel for now. I hope the photos work by themselves, anyway.

It IS alien technology.

Man, it's a real spaceship. And a beautifully designed one, may I add.

I think I'm just so used to at least some color variety in my work, the stark lack thereof with this series is seriously throwing me off my game.

Thanks! If you love the tones, perhaps I'm too harsh on myself with this series... :)

Great sense of symmetry and alignment here! How the roof melts unnoticably into the rear, framed by the spoiler.. perfect how you play with the lack of third dimension!
I like the contrast of the yellow belts, too :)

Maybe it would be even more perfect without the shadow or with one behind the car, but it's great anyway! ;)

And be assured there's no need to worry about the colors here! (I mean, we're talking about a matte black Porsche, right? :D)

Thought about taking out the shadow, but it looked awkward when there was an obvious light direction on the car.

Even though there is not much around it, the car just stands out on it's own...that angle really just almost makes it look weird...if you were looking at it from the ground, it has that elongated appearance

very nice job man, I know you can keep it under control

Now look what you've done. Now I have to call the yellow CGT owner for another shoot and try to outshoot this amazing series of yours! I know it will be in vain but this angle is so gorgeous I just can't resist having another go at it !

Well done man ! :)

Yellow still wins over matte black. Black's evil, but I woulda preferred yellow, myself. Lucky. ;)

Oh man, this is awesome... But I think you captured for me what I like to call the "Roomba" effect with some Porsches. From some angles, they just kinda look like a Roomba to me. At least this one is the badassest Roomba ever. ;p
