1962 MG MGB.
Manchac, Louisiana. June 6, 2009.

Now here's something new; the car, the year, the body style- I haven't really photographed anything to date that's remotely similar.

This particular car is the 4th oldest surviving MGB in the world; that's pretty significant when 500,000 were produced. My client bought it as a rusted out shell and fully restored it from the ground up- by himself. Every nut, bolt and mechanical part was replated, repaired or replaced. Now it wins Best of Show awards at car shows.

I've got a funny feeling this series won't be for everyone, but it's something wildly different than usual, so I'm just as excited to start working on it. :)

That is a great composition for this awesome little car. :D I've always had a soft spot for MG. (Before they went shit anyway) :P Awesome work! My parents owned two MG BGT's when I was growing up, and they were awesome too, but this one looks gorgeous. Extremely well restored. Kudos to him, and to you for the awesome shot. :)
