2009 Maserati GranTurismo.
Atlanta, Georgia. February 20, 2009.

For nine years now, the Lotus Exige has been my all time favorite dreamcar, and I was lucky enough to photograph one in my ideal color, Aspen White.

But after two hours of driving the GranTourismo... I've gotta say... the Exige has been ousted. I really am at a loss for words with this car. It's just staggeringly beautiful, drives like dream, comfortable as hell, and is by far one of the most photogenic- and arguably best looking- cars on the road today.

Yes; I am in love.

Maserati courtesy of Ferrari of Atlanta (as was the Scuderia). I was there for three days photographing some of their inventory. They gave me free reign of everything they had in stock, so between 15+ Maseratis, I made my selection based on exterior color, wheel design, and interior color. I chose this particular model primarily for the exterior color, as I love white exotics.

I also chose this specific model because if I could purchase a GT, this would be it, only with anthracite wheels. This is my dreamcar.

So don't disagree with me or I'll have you killed.

I couldn't photograph the cars off FoA property, so this was photographed in one of their back lots that I had to myself. So. The location could have been loads better, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with what I managed to coax out of an empty parking lot.

Lastly- it seemed inappropriate to give this an English title. I'm so enamored by this car, I thought I would make the series as perfect as possible. Even the titles.
