It was rigged right? How exactly would you go about doing this?

I noticed the aperture was pretty tight, but it looks TOO sharp for 2.5 seconds. Very impressive. Does the rig stabilize the camera from bumps and whatnot?

It's rigged, yep.

There's no stabilization on my rig, so I just shoot a continuous string of exposures and mix and match until I get a sharp shot. Hardly efficient, but it works.
